Refund policy
At Spine and Spice, we want every customer to enjoy their Blind Date with a Book experience. As our products are mystery book bundles, please read our returns policy carefully before placing your order.
Returns
Due to the nature of our Blind Date with a Book products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds if you do not like the book selected for you, as the surprise element is a key part of the experience.
We also cannot offer refunds for:
- Personal preference regarding the book’s genre, storyline, writing style, or characters.
- Books you have already read unless this information was not disclosed in your preferences.
- Minor signs of wear consistent with pre-loved books described as being in good condition.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged or incorrect item(s)
We will review your request and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, store credit, or refund.
Lost Parcels
If your parcel is lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the shipping provider to investigate. Refunds or replacements for lost parcels will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
