Our Blind Date with a Book products contain mystery books and curated bookish items. While customers may select a preferred genre or provide reading preferences, specific book titles are chosen by us and remain a surprise.
As many of our books are pre-loved, minor signs of previous ownership or wear may be present. We carefully inspect all books to ensure they are in good, readable condition before dispatch.
3. Orders
By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if:
- Payment cannot be processed.
- The product becomes unavailable.
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
- An error has occurred in pricing or product information.
4. Mystery Book Disclaimer
The surprise element is a core feature of our Blind Date with a Book products. By purchasing a mystery book bundle, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Book titles are selected based on your chosen genre and preferences.
- We cannot guarantee that you will enjoy the selected book.
- We cannot guarantee that you have not previously read the selected book unless a list of previously read books has been provided prior to ordering.
- Disliking a book is not grounds for a refund, return, or exchange.
- Customers are responsible for accurately providing any genre preferences, trigger warnings, or books they have already read.

Returns or refunds will not be accepted due to dissatisfaction with the mystery book selection or because a customer does not enjoy the book received.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on postal services, courier services, and seasonal demand.
Once an order has been dispatched, Spine and Spice is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipping address is correct at checkout. Additional postage costs resulting from an incorrect address may be the responsibility of the customer.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item(s)
We will review each case individually and may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate.
